Step Up For Students is a state-approved nonprofit scholarship funding organization that helps administer several scholarships for Florida schoolchildren: the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program (FTC) for low-income families, [the Family Empowerment Scholarship and the FES-UA, formerly called Gardiner Scholarship, for children with certain specific needs and unique abilities.]
